🌿 Grow Pray — Privacy Policy

Grow Pray ("we", "us", "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

1. Data We Collect

Location Data: We request your device location solely to calculate accurate prayer times for your area. Prayer times are computed entirely on your device, and your coordinates are never sent to any server.

Prayer & Progress Data: Your prayer completions, streaks, coins, garden progress, the display name you optionally enter during onboarding, and your settings are stored locally on your device using on-device storage. This data never leaves your device.

Purchase Data: If you subscribe to Premium or purchase coins, the transaction is handled by Apple. To manage your subscription entitlement, we use RevenueCat (see Section 4), which receives purchase events and an anonymous, randomly generated app user identifier. We never receive or store your payment card details.

Notifications: If you grant notification permission, the app schedules local notifications on your device to remind you of prayer times. No notification data is sent to any server — all scheduling happens entirely on-device.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect your email address or contact information
We do not use advertising or behavioral tracking SDKs
We do not serve advertisements
We do not sell your data or share it with data brokers
We do not require a login or user account

3. Data Storage

All app data is stored locally on your device. If you delete the app, all locally stored data is permanently removed. There is no cloud backup or sync in this version.

4. Third-Party Services

The app uses the following third-party services:

RevenueCat — to manage in-app subscriptions and purchases. RevenueCat receives purchase transaction information and an anonymous app user identifier to determine your subscription status. It does not receive your name, location, or prayer data. See revenuecat.com/privacy.
Apple App Store — for processing in-app purchases and subscriptions. See Apple's Privacy Policy.

Prayer times are calculated on-device using an open-source astronomical library. No prayer-time service or external API receives your location.

5. Children's Privacy

Grow Pray does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The app is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the app and on this page with an updated effective date.
